5 Reasons Why You Can’t Miss the Return of “Alchemy Of Souls”

It’s not like I’m only in love with the Korean fantasy series Alchemy of Souls. I’m confident I’m not the only one. In the end, the show continued to be at the top of the Netflix Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) chart for 15 consecutive weeks!
It’s official, Alchemy of Souls will return shortly – on December 10, 2022, to be precise – and to say I’m excited about it is an understatement. There are so many unfinished tales; here are five reasons you should be open to this return to the show.
Five Reasons to Not Delay the return from Alchemy Of Souls
Jang Uk’s Evolution
We’ve seen Jang Uk (Lee Jae-Wook) suffer through various difficulties. From being from a renowned mage family, lacking magical powers, to figuring out his way in a world without assistance. He even goes to die and returns to life. (Best scene ever.) I’m excited to see Jang Uk kick some sass.
“The Return of Naksu
This isn’t a widely-held opinion, but I was devastated when I realized that Go Youn-Jung would not be performing the role of Naksu for the remainder of Season 1. The trailers and posters are making me very excited as I’m eager to see her play the character of the strong sorceress and assassin… particularly after having experienced feelings of love and the sad part that followed it.

The Bromance
I am a massive fan of the bromances from Alchemy of Souls, especially Jang Uk and the Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung-ho). The jade scenes are rent-free in my head! I’m excited to get to know more about them. I hope that their relationships remain the same, despite all the changes.
The Romance
With no Bs, the love story in Alchemy of Souls is also worth watching (though I’m more interested in it because of the fantasy aspect and action). But the fact that Naksu appears to be the same as the original Naksu is going to alter the way Seo Yul (Hwang Min-Hyun) is about his business when his first romance is on the line. There are plenty of other relationships worth pursuing as well. Did Park Dang-gu or Jin Cho-Yeon (Arin)’s gorgeous plans change? What about Park Jin (Yu Jun-sang) and Maid Kim (Oh Na-ra)? Are there any single guys finding new partners? I’m very interested in watching happy couples on what’s hands-down my top KDrama of the year.

The Meaning of Everything
Alchemy of Souls has impressed us with its intricately woven plot, deep storyline, and captivating characters. With the epic story about to close, what will happen to the beautiful Daeho world Daeho and the other characters is the main issue. What happens to this enchanting world that we’ve fallen entirely in with? It will be interesting to see when the story unfolds on December 10!
If you have yet to watch the series or want to refresh your memory on the events that have transpired thus far, this is the best moment to watch! Make sure you’re ready, and don’t lose watching coming back Alchemy of Souls exclusively on Netflix!
